In a dominant display, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Indianapolis Colts 54-24 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The Steelers firmly established their playoff ambitions with this commanding victory, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience throughout the game. Quarterback Drew Allar led the charge for Pittsburgh, delivering an impressive performance with 452 passing yards and five touchdown passes. His connection with wide receiver DK Metcalf was particularly lethal, as Metcalf racked up 141 receiving yards to help propel the Steelers' high-scoring offense. Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor's 125 rushing yards provided the Colts with a glimmer of hope, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Pittsburgh's explosive attack. The Steelers' defense also played a crucial role, highlighted by Jamel Dean's two interceptions that shifted momentum at pivotal moments. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Dean's interception set up another quick touchdown for Pittsburgh, widening the gap and leaving the Colts unable to recover. With this performance, the Steelers not only secured a crucial win but also sent a strong message to the rest of the league.
