In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Jets topped the Cleveland Browns 21-13 in Week 5 of the 2026 season, solidifying their standing in the league. Both teams came into this game looking to gain momentum, but it was the Jets who ultimately secured the victory on their home turf. Geno Smith led the Jets' offense with a stellar performance, throwing for 289 yards and two touchdown passes. His connection with Kenyon Sadiq was particularly impressive, as Sadiq racked up an impressive 179 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to exploit the Browns' secondary. Quinshon Judkins stood out for Cleveland, rushing for 102 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome New York's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Jets made crucial plays that turned the tide in their favor. David Bailey was a force on the line, notching 1.5 sacks, while Brandon Stephens clinched the game with an interception. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Stephens' pick halted a Browns drive, allowing the Jets to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win.
