In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Miami Dolphins 38-9 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Chiefs solidify their position as one of the early powerhouses in the league, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 278 yards and five touchdowns, leading the charge for Kansas City. Xavier Worthy emerged as his favorite target, racking up 120 receiving yards, while Kenneth Walker added balance to the attack with 86 rushing yards. The Chiefs' offense was relentless, capitalizing on Miami's defensive lapses throughout the game. Defensively, the Chiefs imposed their will, with Drue Tranquill leading the way with nine total tackles. While Miami’s Zach Sieler managed to record a sack, it was not enough to disrupt Kansas City's rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mahomes threw three touchdown passes in a span of just over six minutes, effectively putting the game out of reach and sealing the Dolphins' fate.
