In a critical Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Cleveland Browns topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 23-13. The victory not only boosts Cleveland's early-season hopes but also puts them in a strong position as they look to establish themselves in the league. Browns quarterback Taylen Green led the charge, throwing for 216 yards and a touchdown, while running back Quinshon Judkins showcased a powerful ground attack with 124 rushing yards. The Browns’ offensive unit effectively controlled the game, utilizing a balanced approach that kept the Buccaneers' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Browns were dominant, highlighted by Jared Verse's two sacks and Ronnie Hickman's crucial interception, which shifted momentum in Cleveland's favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter, when Hickman’s pick halted a potential Buccaneers scoring drive, allowing the Browns to capitalize and extend their lead. Tampa Bay struggled to recover, managing just 13 points against a stout Cleveland defense that consistently pressured their offense.
