In a decisive Week 12 showdown, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Houston Texans with a final score of 27-9, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season enters its final stretch. The Ravens showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, while the Texans struggled to find their rhythm throughout the contest. Lamar Jackson led the way for Baltimore, throwing for 167 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capability. Mark Andrews was his primary target, racking up 86 receiving yards, while the Ravens' ground game also contributed significantly, keeping the Texans' defense on its heels. Despite the Texans' David Montgomery leading all rushers with 77 yards, Houston couldn't match the Ravens' explosive offense. On the defensive side, Baltimore's unit stepped up, with Trey Hendrickson recording a crucial sack and Kyle Hamilton securing an interception that shifted momentum. The game’s turning point came late in the second quarter when Hamilton's pick set up a touchdown, allowing the Ravens to pull away. With their defense holding the Texans to just nine points, Baltimore effectively controlled the tempo and secured a vital win.
