In a high-stakes Week 7 showdown, the Denver Broncos topped the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 38-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race as the season reaches its midpoint. With both teams vying for crucial conference standings, the Broncos showcased their offensive prowess to secure the victory. Denver's offense was led by Bo Nix, who threw for two touchdown passes, while RJ Harvey dominated the ground game with an impressive 108 rushing yards. Courtland Sutton was a reliable target for Nix, racking up 103 receiving yards and consistently moving the chains, helping to keep the Broncos' scoring drives alive. On the defensive side, Jonathon Cooper made a significant impact with three sacks, disrupting the Cardinals' offensive rhythm and creating key opportunities for his team. The turning point came in the second quarter when Cooper's relentless pressure led to a turnover on downs, allowing Denver to extend their lead and ultimately control the game's tempo. Despite the Cardinals' strong efforts, including Jacoby Brissett's 239 passing yards, they couldn't overcome the Broncos' balanced attack and defensive stands.
