In a tightly contested matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 21-14 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory keeps the Buccaneers firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Panthers look to regroup after a hard-fought loss at home. Bucky Irving was the standout on the ground for Tampa Bay, racking up an impressive 134 rushing yards, while Cade Otton made key contributions in the passing game with 81 receiving yards. Bryce Young led the Panthers' offensive efforts, throwing for 217 yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Buccaneers' Keionte Scott made a crucial interception that swung momentum in Tampa Bay's favor. Carolina's Jaelan Phillips added pressure with a sack, but ultimately, it was Bobby Okereke's seven tackles that kept the Panthers in the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Scott's interception halted a potential game-tying drive for Carolina, sealing the victory for the Buccaneers.
