In a crucial NFC South matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Atlanta Falcons 27-17 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to solidify their standings, but the Saints emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and a resilient defense. Zach Wilson led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 223 yards and two touchdowns, finding a favorite target in Chris Olave, who racked up 123 receiving yards. The Saints' offense was efficient, balancing the pass and run, while the Falcons struggled to keep pace despite a standout performance from Bijan Robinson, who rushed for 94 yards. On the defensive side, the Saints applied pressure, with Carl Granderson notching a sack that disrupted Atlanta's rhythm. The pivotal moment came late in the third quarter when the Saints' defense held strong, forcing a turnover on downs that shifted momentum firmly in their favor. Divine Deablo led the Falcons with eight tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome New Orleans' balanced attack and defensive resilience.
