The Atlanta Falcons topped the Carolina Panthers 34-23 in a spirited Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their early season dominance. With both teams looking to establish momentum, Atlanta's victory not only boosts their confidence but also places them firmly in the playoff conversation early in the year. Jalen Milroe led the charge for the Falcons, throwing for three touchdowns and keeping the Panthers' defense on its heels throughout the game. Meanwhile, Drake London was sensational, racking up 181 receiving yards and proving to be a game-changing target. On the ground, the Panthers' Chuba Hubbard showed flashes of brilliance with 82 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Atlanta's high-octane offense. Defensively, the Falcons made their mark with Divine Deablo leading the way and recording 12 total tackles. Za'Darius Smith also made a significant impact with 1.5 sacks, disrupting the Panthers' offensive rhythm at crucial moments. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Milroe connected with London for a deep touchdown, extending the lead and leaving Carolina scrambling to catch up.
