In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Houston Texans 31-17, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams looking to gain momentum in the season, this victory was crucial for the Jaguars as they continue to build on their successful campaign. Trevor Lawrence showcased his elite quarterback skills, throwing for three touchdown passes while guiding the Jaguars' offense with precision. Jakobi Meyers emerged as his favorite target, racking up 110 receiving yards and consistently moving the chains. On the ground, the Jaguars maintained balance, but it was Woody Marks of the Texans who led the rushing game with 62 yards, unable to keep pace with Jacksonville's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Jaguars were relentless, with Eric Stokes leading the charge with eight tackles. Josh Hines-Allen wreaked havoc on the Texans' offensive line, recording two sacks, while Jourdan Lewis made a game-changing impact with two interceptions. The pivotal moment came in the second quarter when Lewis's second pick set up a quick touchdown drive, giving Jacksonville a lead they would not relinquish.
