Trey Palmer emerged as his favorite target, racking up 168 receiving yards and proving to be a constant threat downfield. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard struggled to find room for the Panthers, managing only 29 rushing yards as the Saints' defense held firm. Defensively, the Saints were impactful, with Kool-Aid McKinstry leading the way with five total tackles. The game turned decisively in New Orleans' favor when Jonas Sanker intercepted a pass, halting a potential Panthers scoring drive and allowing the Saints to extend their lead. Bobby Okereke's two sacks for Carolina showcased their defensive effort, but it was ultimately not enough to counter the Saints' offensive explosion.
