In a commanding performance, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Arizona Cardinals 28-3 in Week 8 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Cowboys solidified their standing as a playoff contender while the Cardinals struggled to find their rhythm on offense. Dallas was led offensively by an explosive showing from Javonte Williams, who not only dominated the ground game with 157 rushing yards but also shined in the passing game, racking up 106 receiving yards. Quarterback Dak Prescott contributed effectively, tossing one touchdown pass while managing the game with precision. Despite the Cardinals’ defense, Jacoby Brissett could only muster 139 passing yards, unable to find any sustained success. The Cowboys' defense played a crucial role in the outcome, limiting Arizona to just three points and forcing them into tough situations throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Shavon Revel Jr. intercepted Brissett, setting up a scoring drive that extended Dallas' lead and put the game out of reach. With Quinnen Williams applying pressure and contributing a sack, the Cowboys’ defense showcased their dominance, stifling any hope of a Cardinals comeback.
