In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Seattle Seahawks 38-17 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Chiefs showcased their offensive prowess, further solidifying their position in the playoff race. Patrick Mahomes put on a show, throwing for 459 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating why he remains one of the league's elite quarterbacks. Jeff Caldwell was his favorite target, racking up 221 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Kenneth Walker contributed on the ground despite limited carries, finishing with 14 rushing yards. Defensively, the Chiefs were impactful, highlighted by Mansoor Delane's interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came in the second quarter when Delane's pick set up a quick touchdown, giving Kansas City a comfortable lead they would not relinquish. Despite a solid effort from Seattle's Nick Emmanwori, who recorded four total tackles, the Chiefs' offense proved too formidable to overcome.
