In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Denver Broncos 35-14 in their season opener, firmly establishing their dominance in the AFC West. With both teams looking to make an early statement this season, the Chiefs showcased their power and precision on both sides of the ball. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for 178 yards and three touchdowns, highlighting his connection with star tight end Travis Kelce, who racked up 65 receiving yards. On the ground, Jonah Coleman stood out for the Broncos, gaining 97 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' explosive offense. Defensively, the Chiefs were relentless, with Isaiah Bolden making a splash by snagging three interceptions, completely shifting the momentum of the game. Chris Jones added a sack to his tally, while Jadon Canady's five tackles solidified a performance that kept the Broncos in check. The turning point came early in the second half when Bolden's third interception set up a quick touchdown, giving the Chiefs a comfortable lead and leaving the Broncos struggling to respond.
