In a commanding performance, the Washington Commanders topped the Indianapolis Colts 45-21 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. The victory keeps the Commanders firmly in the playoff conversation as they continue to build momentum early in the year. Jayden Daniels was the standout performer for Washington, throwing for two touchdowns and adding a stellar 107 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. Terry McLaurin also made his mark, leading the receivers with 82 yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and create explosive plays. Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson Sr. did his best to keep the Colts competitive with 182 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the high-flying Washington offense. Defensively, the Commanders were relentless, with Trey Amos leading the charge with seven total tackles, an interception, and a significant presence throughout the game. Odafe Oweh made his impact felt as well, recording two sacks that disrupted Indianapolis's offensive rhythm and contributed to the game’s turning point. With a strong defensive effort complementing their offensive prowess, the Commanders secured a decisive win that could set the tone for the weeks ahead.
