In a dominating performance, the New England Patriots defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 50-7 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess. This victory solidifies the Patriots' position as a contender early in the season, while the Jaguars will need to regroup after a tough outing. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for 276 yards and four touchdowns, leading an explosive offensive display. While the rushing game was less impactful with TreVeyon Henderson managing only 29 yards, the Patriots' aerial assault kept the Jaguars on their heels throughout the contest. Receiving-wise, Malik Nabers of the Jaguars was the only bright spot for his team, finishing with 53 yards but unable to convert that into significant scoring. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Milton Williams recording five total tackles and two sacks, disrupting the Jaguars' offensive rhythm. Isaiah Bolden added to the defensive highlight reel with an interception, further swinging momentum in favor of New England. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when the Patriots scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach for Jacksonville.
