In a hard-fought matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, securing a 17-9 victory in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The win was crucial for the Bengals as they look to establish themselves in a competitive division. Joe Milton led the Steelers with a solid performance, throwing for 249 yards and a touchdown, but it was not enough to overcome the Bengals' balanced attack. Chase Brown contributed with 53 rushing yards, while Germie Bernard shined in the receiving game, racking up 125 yards for Pittsburgh. Defensively, the Bengals made their mark with a strong showing, highlighted by Boye Mafe's three sacks, which disrupted the Steelers' rhythm throughout the game. Cashius Howell's seven total tackles showcased his presence on the field, but it was Jordan Battle's key interception that turned the tide, halting a potential Steelers comeback and sealing the victory for Cincinnati.
