In a decisive Week 1 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Buffalo Bills with a final score of 34-17, kicking off the 2026 season on a high note. With both teams looking to establish early momentum, the Texans showcased their offensive prowess, leaving the Bills searching for answers. Aaron Rodgers led the Texans' aerial attack, throwing for two touchdowns and setting the tone for the game. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs dominated on the ground, racking up 109 rushing yards, and Khalil Shakir put forth a strong receiving performance, amassing 135 yards for Buffalo. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the Texans' balanced offensive effort. Defensively, the Texans were able to apply pressure throughout the game, disrupting the Bills' rhythm.
