The Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Indianapolis Colts 29-7 in a commanding performance that solidified their standing in the league during Week 5 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for momentum, the Steelers showcased their dominance from the outset, securing a crucial victory on home turf. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 247 yards and a touchdown, while Jaylen Warren was a force on the ground, racking up 90 rushing yards. Despite a solid effort from Alec Pierce, who amassed 106 receiving yards for the Colts, Indianapolis struggled to find the end zone, ultimately falling short of keeping pace with the Steelers' offensive attack. Defensively, Pittsburgh's unit was relentless, highlighted by T.J. Watt's 1.5 sacks and Jamel Dean's interception, which stifled any momentum the Colts attempted to build. The game’s turning point came early in the second half when Dean's pick set up a touchdown drive, extending Pittsburgh's lead and leaving the Colts to chase the game. The Steelers' defense proved to be the backbone of their success, consistently pressuring the Colts' offense and sealing the win decisively.
