The Green Bay Packers narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 22-20 in a tightly contested Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish themselves early in the year, this game proved critical for momentum as the Packers improved their standing in the NFC. Jordan Love led the way for Green Bay, throwing for 304 yards and providing a steady presence under center. Meanwhile, Michael Penix Jr. shone for Atlanta, tossing three touchdown passes to keep his team competitive. Bijan Robinson also had a strong performance on the ground, rushing for 102 yards, but it was Matthew Golden's 162 receiving yards that ultimately made the difference for the Packers. Defensively, the Falcons put up a fight, with Christian Harris racking up nine total tackles and James Pearce Jr. contributing three sacks. However, it was the Packers' ability to capitalize on key moments that defined the game, with a critical fourth-quarter drive sealing the victory. The turning point came late in the game when Green Bay's defense held strong, stopping a late push by the Falcons and preserving the win.
