The New Orleans Saints topped the Cincinnati Bengals with a commanding 44-21 victory in Week 12 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Saints showcased their offensive prowess while the Bengals struggled to keep pace in a critical matchup. Fernando Mendoza led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for three touchdowns and efficiently distributing the ball throughout the game. Travis Etienne Jr. contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards, while the Bengals' Joe Burrow amassed an impressive 457 passing yards but couldn’t find the end zone as often as needed. Mike Evans had a standout performance for Cincinnati, recording 237 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Saints' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Saints made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Chase Young’s 1.5 sacks and Kool-Aid McKinstry's interception were key in disrupting Cincinnati's rhythm and limiting their scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the first half when McKinstry picked off Burrow, setting up a touchdown that gave the Saints a comfortable lead they would not relinquish.
