In a decisive Week 10 showdown, the Detroit Lions topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 38-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race. This victory marks a significant moment for the Lions as they continue to build momentum in the 2026 season. Jared Goff led the charge for Detroit, throwing for two touchdowns while efficiently managing the game. Derrick Henry was a force on the ground, racking up 100 rushing yards and keeping the Patriots' defense on its heels. On the other side, Drake Maye put up solid numbers for New England with 277 passing yards, and Kyle Williams showcased his skills with 117 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lions' offense. Defensively, the Lions made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Sean Murphy-Bunting stood out with eight total tackles, contributing to a strong overall defensive effort. The turning point came when Jack Campbell intercepted a pass late in the second half, halting a Patriots drive and helping to secure the Lions' victory.
