AI Recap
AI RECAPIn a tightly contested battle, the Carolina Panthers topped the Green Bay Packers 24-17 in Week 8 of the 2026 season. This victory not only keeps the Panthers in the playoff hunt but also marks a significant step forward in their quest for postseason glory.
Leading the charge for Carolina was quarterback Bryce Young, who threw for an impressive 362 yards and connected with Xavier Legette for a game-high 152 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Jordan Love of the Packers showcased his skills with two touchdown passes, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win on home turf.
Defensively, the Panthers were relentless, with cornerback Tre'von Moehrig making a game-changing impact by snagging three interceptions, crucial in shifting momentum. Nic Scourton added to the pressure on Love with 1.5 sacks, while Benjamin St-Juste of the Packers led his team with seven total tackles. The Panthers’ defensive prowess proved pivotal in sealing the victory, especially during the second half when they stifled Green Bay's attempts to rally.
