In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-7 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. This decisive victory positions the Texans firmly in the playoff conversation, while the Jaguars must regroup after a disappointing outing at home. C.J. Stroud led the Texans with an impressive showing, throwing for 257 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to effectively manage the game. Nico Collins was a standout in the receiving department, racking up 112 yards and providing a reliable target for Stroud. James Cook III contributed on the ground, adding 62 rushing yards to the Texans' offensive arsenal. Defensively, the Texans maintained a strong presence, limiting the Jaguars to just one touchdown throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second half when Houston's defense stifled a potential scoring drive, allowing Stroud and the offense to pull away. Although Foyesade Oluokun led the Jaguars with seven tackles, it wasn't enough to counter the Texans' relentless attack.
