The Philadelphia Eagles topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-19 in a tightly contested Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Eagles solidify their positioning in the playoff race, while the Jaguars face a tough road ahead as they seek to regain momentum. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' passing attack with 195 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to move the chains. However, it was Ashton Jeanty who shined for Philadelphia, rushing for 75 yards, while Jaylen Waddle contributed significantly with 72 receiving yards. Together, they helped the Eagles maintain offensive efficiency throughout the game. Defensively, the Eagles made critical plays to stifle the Jaguars' momentum, with Andrew Mukuba racking up eight total tackles and Jonathon Cooper registering a sack. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Philadelphia's defense forced a turnover on downs, allowing the Eagles to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. Despite an interception from Antonio Johnson of the Jaguars, it wasn’t enough to swing the game in Jacksonville's favor.
