In a commanding performance, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Chicago Bears 30-0 in a decisive Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish themselves early in the year, the Vikings left no doubt about their dominance on the field. Offensively, the Vikings were led by a stellar game from Justin Jefferson, who racked up 116 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and create big plays. Jordan Mason contributed as well, adding 60 rushing yards to keep the Bears' defense on its heels. Caleb Williams of the Bears struggled to find his rhythm, finishing with just 147 passing yards, highlighting the challenges he faced against Minnesota's aggressive defense. The Vikings' defense was a key factor in this lopsided victory, with Andrew Van Ginkel making his presence felt by recording 1.5 sacks. The turning point came early in the second half when the Vikings' defense forced a critical turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and effectively put the game out of reach for the Bears.
