In a commanding performance, the Lubbock Texas Tech topped the Bloomington Hoosiers 32-7 in Week 2 of the 2026 Madden franchise season. The victory solidifies Lubbock's strong start to the season, while Bloomington struggles to find their footing early on. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Lubbock, throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. Kenneth Walker contributed significantly on the ground with 88 rushing yards, while Travis Kelce was Mahomes' favorite target, racking up 95 receiving yards. This offensive trio proved too much for Bloomington's defense to handle. Defensively, Lubbock Texas Tech’s Darrelle Revis made a game-changing interception that halted a potential scoring drive from the Hoosiers, shifting momentum firmly in Lubbock's favor. While Bloomington's CJ Allen recorded a solid nine tackles, it wasn't enough to counter the overwhelming offensive output of the Texas Tech squad. The turning point came when Revis's pick led to a quick touchdown, effectively sealing the game for Lubbock.
