The Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeated the New York Giants 24-21 in a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to establish their dominance early in the season, this game served as a critical test for each squad's playoff aspirations. Dak Prescott was the star of the show for the Cowboys, throwing for 183 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his efficiency and ability to capitalize in the red zone. Quinshon Judkins contributed significantly on the ground, adding 70 rushing yards to keep the Giants' defense honest. DK Metcalf of the Giants was a standout performer as well, racking up 143 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory. Defensively, the Cowboys made their mark with Rashan Gary's two sacks, which were pivotal in disrupting the Giants' offensive rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Prescott connected for a touchdown, putting the Cowboys ahead for good. Despite a valiant effort from the Giants, including a crucial interception by Greg Newsome II, it was the Cowboys' relentless defense that ultimately secured the win.
