In a high-scoring affair, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Tennessee Titans 56-40 in Week 4 of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, the Buccaneers proved to be too much for the Titans, showcasing their offensive firepower throughout the contest. Baker Mayfield was sensational for Tampa Bay, throwing for an impressive seven touchdowns, while Bucky Irving added 100 rushing yards to complement the aerial assault. The Titans' Cam Ward also had a standout performance with 494 passing yards, and Nick Singleton made his mark with a staggering 271 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Buccaneers' relentless scoring. Defensively, the Titans struggled to contain Tampa Bay's explosive offense, despite Cedric Gray's two interceptions and Kevin Winston Jr.'s ten tackles. The game shifted in the Buccaneers' favor midway through the second quarter when Mayfield connected with his receivers for three quick touchdowns, creating a lead that the Titans couldn't overcome. With their defense unable to make critical stops, the Titans fell short in a thrilling shootout.
