In a thrilling Week 12 matchup, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys 31-24, solidifying their place in the playoff hunt. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to improve their standing in a competitive NFC East. Dak Prescott showcased his arm strength, throwing for an impressive 390 yards and three touchdowns, but it was Saquon Barkley who led the Eagles' ground attack with 134 rushing yards. The Eagles' offensive strategy effectively balanced the run and pass, keeping the Cowboys' defense on their toes. Christian Watson also had a standout performance for Dallas, racking up 158 receiving yards, yet it wasn't enough to secure a victory. While both defenses struggled to contain the opposing offenses, Quinyon Mitchell's timely interception proved pivotal for the Eagles, halting a promising drive from the Cowboys and shifting momentum. The Eagles managed to capitalize on this defensive stand, ultimately sealing their win in a contest that featured big plays and strategic battles throughout.
