In a high-scoring showdown, the Los Angeles Rams topped the Minnesota Vikings 45-28, solidifying their playoff aspirations in Week 12 of the 2027 season. With both teams fighting for momentum, the Rams capitalized on their home field advantage, delivering a decisive performance that showcased their offensive firepower. Joe Milton led the Rams' attack with three touchdown passes, effectively distributing the ball and keeping the Vikings' defense on their heels. Dante Moore of Minnesota put up a valiant effort with 362 passing yards, while Jordan Addison shined in the receiving game, racking up 178 yards. However, the Rams' balanced offensive approach, including Jaydon Blue's steady ground game with 65 rushing yards, proved too much for the Vikings to handle. Defensively, the Rams were anchored by Aaron Donald, who registered two sacks and disrupted Minnesota's rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the third quarter when Donald's pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing the Rams to extend their lead and ultimately dictate the pace. Despite a strong defensive showing from the Vikings, including two interceptions from James Pierre, it wasn't enough to overcome the Rams' explosive offense.
