In a commanding performance, the New York Jets topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-16 in Week 12 of the 2027 season. This victory keeps the Jets firmly in playoff contention, while the Jaguars struggle to find their footing in a competitive AFC South. Josh Allen led the charge for New York, throwing for 270 yards and showcasing his ability to move the offense effectively. Breece Hall contributed significantly on the ground with 94 rushing yards, providing a balanced attack that kept the Jaguars' defense guessing. Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr. stood out for Jacksonville, racking up 117 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to close the gap. Defensively, the Jets managed to stifle the Jaguars' offensive flow, limiting Trevor Lawrence to just one passing touchdown. The game's turning point came late in the first half when the Jets intercepted a critical pass, allowing them to extend their lead and seize momentum. Caleb Ransaw led the Jaguars in tackles with nine, but their defense couldn't contain the Jets' explosive plays when it mattered most.
