In a decisive Week 15 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the New England Patriots 39-13, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season approaches its end. With both teams vying for a crucial win, the Chiefs delivered a dominant performance that left little doubt about their capabilities. Patrick Mahomes was the standout on offense for Kansas City, throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his elite skill set. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson of the Patriots had a remarkable day on the ground with 187 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' explosive attack. Xavier Worthy also made his mark, racking up 143 receiving yards, providing Mahomes with a reliable target throughout the game. Defensively, the Chiefs were impactful, led by Chris Jones, who recorded two sacks, disrupting the Patriots' offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mahomes connected with Worthy for a touchdown, extending the lead and putting the pressure on New England to respond. Although Craig Woodson intercepted a pass for the Patriots, it was not enough to alter the course of the game as Kansas City's defense stifled any attempts at a comeback.
