In a commanding display to kick off the 2027 season, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Seattle Seahawks 56-7. The Ravens came into the game looking to establish dominance early, and they did just that, showing their prowess on both sides of the ball. Lamar Jackson was the star of the offensive show, throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding a dynamic presence with his legs. Adam Randall contributed significantly on the ground with 92 rushing yards, and Rashod Bateman led the receiving corps with 96 yards, making big plays that kept the Seahawks’ defense on their heels throughout the matchup. The Ravens’ defense played a crucial role in the lopsided score, highlighted by Jaylinn Hawkins’ interception and a relentless pass rush that kept Seattle's offense in check. The turning point came in the second quarter when Baltimore's defense forced a turnover that led to a quick touchdown, putting the game well out of reach for the Seahawks and solidifying their dominance for the remainder of the game.
