The Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals 31-24 in a tightly contested Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, this victory gives Seattle a crucial edge in the division race as they aim for playoff contention. Jalen Milroe led the Seahawks' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 227 yards and keeping drives alive when it mattered most. Meanwhile, Zach Charbonnet dominated the ground game, racking up 101 rushing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba provided valuable support with 65 receiving yards. Mac Jones managed to get into the end zone for Arizona, but his single passing touchdown was not enough to keep pace with Seattle's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Seahawks made their mark with a standout performance from Julian Love, who recorded two critical interceptions that turned the tide in Seattle's favor. Ernest Jones IV's eight tackles helped contain Arizona's offense, while Walter Nolen III's lone sack showcased the Cardinals' defensive effort. However, it was Love's timely picks that ultimately sealed the victory for Seattle, demonstrating the importance of creating turnovers in close games.
