In a commanding performance, the Washington Commanders topped the Houston Texans 59-30 in Week 14 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, Washington demonstrated their offensive prowess while securing a crucial victory against their conference rivals. Leading the charge for the Commanders was quarterback Jayden Daniels, who threw for an impressive 540 yards and seven touchdowns, showcasing his standout ability to find open receivers and capitalize on defensive lapses. Jacory Croskey-Merritt added a solid ground game with 81 rushing yards, complementing the aerial assault and helping to keep the Texans' defense off balance throughout the contest. While the Texans struggled to contain the explosive offense, their defense did manage some notable individual performances. Kamari Lassiter led the Texans with seven total tackles, two interceptions, and Danielle Hunter contributed with two sacks, but the team's efforts were ultimately overshadowed by Washington's offensive barrage. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Daniels connected on three consecutive touchdown passes, effectively putting the game out of reach for Houston.
