In a thrilling Week 13 matchup, the Carolina Panthers narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings, finishing with a final score of 28-24. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Panthers who came out on top, solidifying their postseason positioning. Bryce Young led the charge for Carolina, throwing for 233 yards and connecting on crucial plays throughout the game. Chuba Hubbard contributed significantly on the ground with 72 rushing yards, while Tetairoa McMillan emerged as Young's go-to target, racking up 73 receiving yards. Kyler Murray of the Vikings matched the intensity with two touchdown passes, keeping Minnesota competitive until the final whistle. Defensively, Jaelan Phillips was a standout for the Panthers, recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Vikings' offense at key moments. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Phillips' pressure forced a critical incompletion, allowing Carolina to maintain their slim lead. Despite Andrew Van Ginkel's solid performance with seven total tackles for Minnesota, it wasn't enough to turn the tide as the Panthers held off the Vikings’ late-game surge.
