In an intense Week 12 showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers held off the Denver Broncos with a final score of 35-27. The victory keeps the Steelers firmly in playoff contention, while the Broncos struggle to find consistency as the regular season winds down. Leading the way for Pittsburgh was quarterback Drew Allar, who threw for 311 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his poise under pressure. On the receiving end, DK Metcalf dominated with 118 yards, making pivotal catches that helped sustain drives and keep the Broncos' defense on their heels. J.K. Dobbins provided a solid ground game for Denver, rushing for 76 yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Steelers made crucial stops when it mattered most, highlighted by T.J. Watt's 1.5 sacks that disrupted Allar's rhythm and Jalen Ramsey's key interception that shifted momentum back to Pittsburgh. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Ramsey's pick set up a touchdown drive, allowing the Steelers to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory. With a strong defensive performance, Pittsburgh proved they can deliver in high-pressure situations.
