In a tightly contested battle, the San Francisco 49ers narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 19-13 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the 49ers who emerged victorious, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Brock Purdy showcased his skills with a strong performance, passing for 275 yards and throwing one touchdown to lead the 49ers' offense. Christian McCaffrey contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 75 rushing yards, while George Kittle was a key target in the passing game, amassing 97 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Vikings' defense on its toes throughout the game. Defensively, the 49ers stepped up when it mattered most, with Renardo Green leading the team with eight total tackles, providing essential support against the Vikings' attack. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the 49ers managed to stifle a late drive from Minnesota, forcing a critical turnover that allowed San Francisco to maintain their lead and secure the win. Despite a strong showing from Andrew Van Ginkel, who recorded two sacks for the Vikings, it was the 49ers' defensive resilience that ultimately clinched the game.
