The Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Baltimore Ravens 28-7 in a decisive Week 9 showdown that solidified their position in the playoff race. With this victory, the Jaguars demonstrated their offensive prowess while the Ravens struggled to find their rhythm, leaving them with much to ponder as the season progresses. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for 164 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make plays when it mattered most. Bhayshul Tuten added a strong ground presence with 63 rushing yards, complementing the passing attack effectively. Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr. emerged as Lawrence's favorite target, racking up 77 receiving yards and consistently finding space in the Ravens' secondary. Defensively, the Jaguars were opportunistic, highlighted by Calen Bullock’s interception that shifted momentum early in the game. Despite Roquan Smith's three tackles for the Ravens and Trey Hendrickson's lone sack, Baltimore failed to disrupt Lawrence’s rhythm or contain the Jaguars' scoring threats. The game's turning point came after Bullock's interception, which set up a quick touchdown, allowing Jacksonville to take control and never look back.
