In an exhilarating Week 7 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, finishing the game with a final score of 30-24. This victory was crucial for Seattle as they look to solidify their playoff position, while the Chiefs aimed to rebound from recent struggles. On the offensive side, Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs with a solid performance, throwing for 286 yards, but it was Seattle's Jalen Milroe who made the most impactful play, tossing a touchdown despite limited passing yards. Kansas City’s Travis Kelce was a standout receiver, racking up 116 yards, while Kenneth Walker contributed on the ground with 46 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made pivotal plays that influenced the outcome, highlighted by DeMarcus Lawrence's impressive 2.5 sacks and Bud Clark's two interceptions. Seattle's defensive unit continually pressured Mahomes, forcing crucial mistakes that shifted the momentum, particularly in the second half, when a timely interception set up the game-winning drive. As the clock ticked down, the Seahawks' defense held firm, sealing a well-earned victory.
