In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Minnesota Vikings 28-0 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Colts showcased their dominance, shutting out the Vikings and solidifying their position in the race for the postseason. Jonathan Taylor led the way for the Colts on the ground, rushing for 93 yards and finding the end zone, while the passing game was efficient enough to maintain control. Kyler Murray struggled to find his rhythm, throwing for just 92 yards, leaving the Vikings' offense stagnant. Justin Jefferson made a few plays but finished with only 30 receiving yards, unable to ignite a spark for Minnesota. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with DeForest Buckner recording two sacks to disrupt the Vikings' passing game and A.J. Haulcy leading the charge with five total tackles. The turning point came early in the second half when Jamin Davis intercepted a pass, halting any momentum the Vikings hoped to build and allowing Indianapolis to extend their lead and ultimately secure the shutout victory.
