In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Atlanta Falcons with a commanding 31-10 victory. The win solidifies the 49ers' position in the playoff race, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball against a struggling Falcons team. Leading the charge for San Francisco was quarterback Brock Purdy, who threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns, effectively spreading the ball around. Christian McCaffrey added a powerful ground game with 103 rushing yards, while Mike Evans was a standout in the receiving corps, racking up 157 yards. This offensive performance kept the pressure on the Falcons throughout the game. Defensively, the 49ers were equally impressive, highlighted by Renardo Green's interception that shifted momentum in the second quarter. Although Divine Deablo of the Falcons recorded nine tackles and Jalon Walker contributed with a sack, it was San Francisco's ability to limit Atlanta's offensive opportunities that proved crucial.
