In a thrilling Week 5 showdown, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Detroit Lions 32-24, securing a crucial victory that keeps their playoff hopes alive. The Cardinals displayed resilience as they fought to maintain their momentum in the 2026 season, while the Lions aimed to bounce back from previous setbacks. Arizona's Carson Beck was the standout performer, passing for 259 yards and throwing two touchdown passes to lead his team offensively. Meanwhile, Detroit's Jahmyr Gibbs showcased his talents on the ground, amassing 113 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Cardinals' balanced attack. Michael Wilson also made his mark with 109 receiving yards, providing a reliable target for Beck throughout the contest. Defensively, the Cardinals made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Mack Wilson Sr. was a force with 11 total tackles, ensuring that the Lions' offensive efforts were constantly challenged. The game's turning point came when Chidobe Awuzie intercepted a pass late in the fourth quarter, stifling a Lions drive and solidifying Arizona's hold on the game.
