In a thrilling Week 3 showdown, the Miami Dolphins narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24, securing a vital win to boost their season record. Both teams entered the game looking to establish dominance early, but it was Miami that ultimately emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs with a solid performance, throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns, while Tyquan Thornton made his mark with 93 receiving yards. However, it was Malik Willis who stole the spotlight for Miami, rushing for 87 yards and providing the offensive spark needed to keep the Dolphins in front. On the defensive side, the Dolphins were bolstered by a standout performance from Chop Robinson, who recorded two sacks, putting pressure on Mahomes throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Jabrill Peppers intercepted a crucial pass, sealing the victory for Miami and allowing them to hold off a late-game push from Kansas City.
