The Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 37-12 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, setting a strong tone for the year. With both teams looking to establish their identity early, the Ravens showcased their offensive firepower while the Colts struggled to find their rhythm. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for two touchdowns and connecting with his receivers effectively. Derrick Henry complemented the passing game with a dominant 116 rushing yards, consistently moving the chains and keeping the Colts' defense on its heels. For Indianapolis, Anthony Richardson Sr. put up solid numbers with 254 passing yards, but he was unable to convert those yards into points. Defensively, the Ravens made their presence felt, highlighted by Roquan Smith's five total tackles and Malaki Starks’ crucial interception, which helped shift momentum in Baltimore's favor. The game turned decisively in the second quarter when Starks picked off a pass, leading to a Ravens touchdown that extended their lead to 24-6. From that point on, the Colts struggled to recover, allowing Baltimore to control the game and secure a dominant season-opening win.
