In a decisive Week 17 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders secured a commanding 31-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the regular season approaches its conclusion. With this win, the Raiders showcased their dominance, leaving the Cardinals searching for answers as they look to regroup heading into the offseason. On the offensive side, Raiders quarterback Ashton Jeanty led the charge with an impressive 90 rushing yards, while Dont'e Thornton Jr. shone in the passing game with 91 receiving yards. The combination of a strong ground attack and effective aerial connections allowed Las Vegas to control the tempo and keep the Cardinals on their heels throughout the game. Meanwhile, Jacoby Brissett of the Cardinals managed to throw for 228 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Raiders made their mark with a standout performance from Jermod McCoy, who recorded two crucial interceptions that shifted momentum in favor of Las Vegas. Kwity Paye also contributed significantly with 1.5 sacks, applying constant pressure on the Cardinals' offense. The turning point came when McCoy's second interception halted a promising Arizona drive, allowing the Raiders to extend their lead and ultimately seal the game.
