In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the New England Patriots 23-13, solidifying their playoff hopes as the regular season comes to a close. With both teams vying for postseason positioning, the stakes were high, making this victory crucial for the Broncos. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 287 yards and connecting on key passes that kept the chains moving. His primary target, Courtland Sutton, had a stellar performance, racking up 138 receiving yards and providing Nix with a reliable option throughout the game. Meanwhile, Drake Maye managed to throw a touchdown for New England, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Broncos' offensive production. Defensively, the Broncos made their presence felt, with Alex Singleton leading the team with 11 total tackles, showcasing their ability to stifle the Patriots' advance. The game's turning point came late in the third quarter when Denver's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. Although Craig Woodson of the Patriots snagged two interceptions, the defensive effort from Denver proved too formidable for New England to overcome.
