The Houston Texans outlasted the Washington Commanders with a final score of 30-22 in a crucial Week 14 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Texans managed to secure a vital victory on the road to keep their postseason hopes alive. Offensively, David Montgomery was a standout for Houston, rushing for 106 yards and consistently moving the chains. Meanwhile, Washington's Jayden Daniels delivered an impressive performance, throwing for 245 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to keep the Commanders competitive throughout the game. Terry McLaurin also shined, racking up 98 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Texans' offensive prowess. Defensively, Washington struggled to contain the Texans, allowing them to find rhythm and sustain drives.
