In a commanding performance, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Minnesota Vikings 38-20 in Week 3 of the 2027 season, solidifying their position as a formidable contender early in the campaign. The Raiders showcased their offensive prowess, while the Vikings struggled to keep pace in what was a must-win game for both teams. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza led the charge for the Raiders, throwing for 277 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating both precision and poise throughout the contest. Tre Tucker emerged as his primary target, racking up 92 receiving yards to help keep the chains moving. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs of the Vikings was a bright spot on offense, rushing for 93 yards, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap. Defensively, the Raiders made pivotal plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Darien Porter led the team with six total tackles, while BJ Ojulari contributed with 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Vikings' rhythm. The turning point came when Treydan Stukes intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive for Minnesota and allowing the Raiders to maintain control of the game.
